My educational journey began with struggles. Throughout elementary and high school, I often felt overlooked and misunderstood, barely managing to keep up. However, the unwavering belief of my basketball coaches motivated me to persevere. Their encouragement ignited a determination in me, leading to countless hours of tutoring and practice that ultimately helped me overcome my academic challenges.

This personal victory fueled my passion to support others facing similar obstacles. With over 20 years of experience as an elementary teacher, I’ve dedicated myself to helping students believe in themselves. I’ve witnessed how difficulties in foundational math and reading can overwhelm students as the curriculum advances. By reinforcing these core skills and celebrating progress, I’ve helped many regain their confidence and rediscover their love for learning.

Transitioning to online math and reading tutoring has allowed me to offer individualized plans based on diagnostic assessments.
